Kendal Avenue
Monday to Friday.
Our teaching team
In our recently renovated, open-plan kindergarten we offer a caring, whānau-friendly environment for all children to develop a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We plan our programme around the children, and their whānau’s aspirations for them. Children are encouraged to contribute to the planning process, giving them a sense of ownership and a voice.
We value every person here as a teacher and learner. Our teaching team is committed to supporting each child to gain the ability to work, learn, and get along with others while being in a caring, stable and happy environment. Time spent at Kidsfirst Kindergartens Kendal Ave will help to spark and focus your child’s curiosity and natural love of learning.
At Kidsfirst Kindergartens Kendal Ave your child will learn to communicate and develop relationships with adults and other children, sharing and cooperating. They will explore, create, solve problems, and learn to persist and not give up. They will ask questions about their world, and start to make sense of their place in it.
You're always welcome here! We support and encourage whānau involvement as much as each individual family is able to give, understanding that today there are often other demands on time. We are here to help each family to find the right balance for them and their child. We love it when visitors come to the kindergarten to extend the children’s interests and learning.
We would recommend that you enroll initially for at least two full days – building up to five days at your child's pace. This gives our teachers time to get to know your child and gives some consistency around supporting their learning.
Nau mai tauti mai - come in any time, we’ll show you around and make you welcome!
From time to time we have special offers, to enable more children to come to our not-for-profit, community kindergarten. But hurry, spaces are limited and these offers only apply for a limited time. Conditions apply.
